Her artistic foundation began in high school, where she competed in photography and developed a keen eye for light and shadow. She later studied oil painting in college under the direction of renowned artist Del Parson. Under his tutelage, she learned the nuances of mixing color, defining shadow shapes, and capturing highlights that bring a painting to life.

She approaches the world with a painter’s eye, constantly observing how she would translate what she sees onto canvas. She is drawn to landscapes, flowers, people, and any subject that simply feels worth noticing.
